Astronomy illustrated. Sun, Earth, Moon, eclipses is another editorial product of the Science Communication Center. This book of scientific dissemination brings us closer to the almost infinite world of astronomy, using simple language, attractive images and illustrations, interesting exercises and data about the universe.
What is the sun? What conditions allow us to live on Earth? What role does our moon play? What are eclipses and why and how do they happen? This and other questions will be answered throughout the reading.
In a unique season for Chile, which will witness two total eclipses of the Sun, we share this material that we hope will help each reader learn more about the importance and beauty of these events and captivate interest in science, especially astronomy.
