The story begins like this: Two children plays in a public square and notice their friends are beginning to gain weight worryingly. While they search for answers, they must to escape… A giant piece pizza starts to chase them! How to escape? Only eating fruits, vegetables and following a circuit of exercises that will save them from being devoured.

With this story, the company Octeto Studios and Andrés Herrada, researcher at Universidad Autónoma de Chile created the video game “Fitness Adventure” for children between 5 to 11 years old. "In that period, children face a key age to fight against obesity, so that a proper education will impact on their life as adults," says the Biochemist and Doctor of Biological Sciences Andrés Herrada.

An evil soft drink, treacherous fried chips and a deceitful burger are part of the characters designed by the team. The authors state that they created the videogame story inspired in vintage 2D platforms as Mario Bros and Donkey Kong. Dr. Herrada says “the idea is that children learn the importance of healthy food and exercise by playing”.
