One of the aims of the Vice-Chancellor Office for Postgraduate Studies and Research (VRIP) at Universidad Autónoma de Chile (UA) is to promote national and international collaboration to contribute to the development of Chilean Science by supporting researchers at UA to perform world-class research. To this end, the VRIP looks to promote that worldwide-recognized groups do collaborative research incorporating researchers at UA.
Aims of this grant: a) To strengthen scientific collaboration between UA and worldwide-known national and international institutions in order to achieve world-class scientific outcomes. b) To promote the publication of research work at high impact scientific journals by researchers at UA.
Research fields:The projects that apply to this grant must be related to any of the research fields developed at UA, especially to areas of interest for Chile in which researchers at UA are working.
Applicants: Eligible applicants for this grant are research groups from Chilean or international scientific institutions, worldwide-known by their experience in research. This includes universities, institutes and academic centers of scientific or technological research, non-profit foundations or corporations and public institutes.
Projects must consider a responsible researcher from the applicant institution to lead the project and a researcher at UA as a local side, who must work exclusively at UA. This includes postdoctoral researchers at UA.
