NEW RESEARCH GRANT TO FUND RESEARCH INTERNSHIPS FOR RESEARCHERS FROM UNIVERSIDAD AUTONOMA DE CHILE AT INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
One of the aims of the Vice-Chancellor Office for Postgraduate Studies and Research (VRIP) at Universidad Autónoma de Chile (UA) is to promote national and international collaboration to contribute to the development of Chilean Science by supporting researchers at UA to perform world-class research. To this end, the VRIP looks to promote that worldwide-recognized groups do collaborative research incorporating researchers at UA.
Aims of this grant: a) To promote interchanging of experiences and exposition to cutting-edge knowledge by UA researchers at world-class scientific institutions, in a way that impact the study field of the UA researcher. b) To strengthen scientific collaboration between UA and worldwide-known national and international institutions in order to achieve world-class scientific outcomes.c) To promote the publication of research work at high impact scientific journals by researchers at UA.
Research fields: The projects that apply to this grant must be related to any of the research fields developed at UA, especially to areas of interest for Chile in which researchers at UA are working. Applicants Applicants must be researchers exclusively working at UA, which includes postdoctoral researchers and PhD students that are already working on their approved thesis projects.
